Joe Goldberg

Joe Goldberg is a Venture Partner at North Equity. He brings over 15 years of experience across technology, product marketing, and venture capital, with a track record of scaling go-to-market strategies and launching category-defining products. Joe currently serves as Director of Product Marketing at Vanta, where he drives product launches, positioning, enablement, and competitive strategy for the company’s compliance and risk automation platform. He previously held senior marketing roles at Lacework, Sigma Computing, and Snowflake, building growth engines across cloud security, SaaS analytics, and business intelligence. Earlier in his career, Joe helped expand Splunk’s security and compliance portfolio, served as the first marketing hire at Insight Engines, and held product marketing roles at Symantec, VMware, and Vontu (acquired by Symantec). Before his operating career, Joe was an investor with Outlook Ventures and part of E*TRADE’s venture capital team, after starting his career in investment banking at JPMorgan. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
